A Brand New Start

Well here we are. I have just deleted a blog I have had for over 18 months. I didn't even think I liked the stupid thing until I decided to delete. I'm not very coputer literate and I couldn't find a solution. Frankly, I would hate to be the cause of someone getting a computer infected with malware or viruses because of my silly little blog. I'm gutted people are even using blogs to target peoples computers. there really is no peace. A big thank you to Kate who pointed out the problem.

Still it isn't a bad time to restart, everything is sort of new, Bill is in work, Fred is gone and I have Kate, and my sister has just returned from Ireland full of enthusiasum and new ideas. Poor old Rascal (who is now Kims) has been hit by something of a kiwi/irish tornado. I hope to rewrite some of may older favourite posts, such as the couple I wrote about jumping technique, the function of boots and other such things.

Now I have to go out and spread word of my new blog I guess. I hope to reach all of the people whom have followed my blog, i had gotten up to a decent readership. Sigh. No big I guess onward and upward.

A lesson to us all to be careful, I guess.

  8. Hey Sally, and it's nice to have a new reader :D

My site apparently didn't show up malware but did have two viruses, a trojan and another, that were trying to infect the computers of some of my readers. I don't know how they got access, but really I don't know a lot about computers. If you try and access my old site you can't now really because I reported it to google and to possibly fix it, I need to be able to verify it, but to verify it I need to be able to access it. I assume that basically some hacker is using relatively high traffic blogs as a way to spread viruses. Does that make any sense?

  9. Hiya Beckz, I really like your new look! Commiserations about the malware probs and inconvenience, but hey, it IS a good time for a new start / new look. I can't wait to hear - and see! - more of your adventures with beautiful Kate-mare and the young 'uns (may I request more info on Kate's personality and "tricks", now she's a bit more settled? How are you bonding?)
    Sweet jumping!

  11. Conrgrats, Beckz, on your new blog. Glad to see you didn't let those jerks turn you off to blogging altogether.

I'll delete the old blog from my reader and add this one in.

I'm looking forward to hearing about your sister's time in Ireland. I can't believe she's back already. Where did the time fly?
